About 125 young people from six Boys & Girls Clubs participated in a financial literacy program called "Money Savvy" presented by 30 employee volunteers from The PrivateBank.  Bank volunteers worked side-by-side with the kids, using activity guides that explored topics such as "What is a Budget?" and how to determine if you really need or just want something using the "Gotta Have It Gauge."  Participating Clubs included the James R. Jordan Club, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Club, Logan Square Club, John L. Yancey Club, Roseland-Pullman Club and General Robert E. Wood Club.  The event was part of The PrivateBank's "Give Change" campaign that helped raise awareness of Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago among bank employees and their clients.  Many thanks to Corporate Board member Robert Frentzel, Managing Director of Specialized Industries at The PrivateBank, who spearheaded the campaign.
